Nia cardio-dance workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts and healing arts to get you fit in 60 minutes – body, mind, emotion and spirit. Nia is practiced barefoot and adaptable to all abilities. Nia classes are taught by licensed Nia teachers.

Nia is the art of moving in The Body’s Way (according to the design of the body). Nia is a cardio-dance workout, a movement practice, and a lifestyle based on the intelligent design of the body. Nia 52 Moves
Nia’s 52 moves have been distilled through 30 years of somatic movement exploration to represent the best in holistic systematic and systemic body-mind-emotion-spirit conditioning. Practiced in isolation and integrated throught dance movement, Nia’s 52 Moves are proven to physically condition the body and enhance movement skill and increase flexibility, mobility, agility, stability and strength. The movements originate from diverse modatlities spanning dance, martial arts and therapeutic practices.
Move I.T. – Get Nia Fit!
Move I.T. is a new and unique approach to cardiovascular interval training. The class is based on Nia Technique’s 52 Moves designed to bring conditioning to every body part, muscle group and joint in a 60 minute experience. Move I.T. classes are distinquished by somatic coaching and sequential intervals that isolate and integrate movements designed to deliver 4 types of conditioning: aerobic, anaerobic, reflexive and voluntary.
