PRESS RELEASE

As BODY enters its twentieth year in business, it does so with a refreshed look. The 8,000 square foot wellness center in Santa Fe New Mexico just wrapped a major renovation on its spa and yoga studio, featuring new floors, wall finishings, furniture, and artwork.

“When you walk into BODY, we’d like for you to feel relaxed and connected,” describes Lori Parish, owner and founder of the award-winning wellness destination. “This renovation is an outward expression of our renewed energy to support your wellness journey. We hope the facilities create a peaceful and beautiful environment for self-care.”

BODY has long had a reputation of being “where the locals go”. Unlike other high-end spas in Santa Fe that cater almost exclusively to tourists, the spa at BODY is an extension of Santa Fe’s wellness community, attracting locals and transplants seeking ongoing self-care. As you await your massage or facial in the newly refreshed relaxation room, you’ll likely to meet a regular in for deep tissue bodywork, an herbal enzyme peel, or Vinyasa Flow yoga class. BODY feels less transient than a hotel experience, and more grounded in life in Santa Fe.

Inside the boutique at BODY, you’ll find slow fashion and responsibly sourced men’s and women’s clothing and home goods. BODY approached their renovation with this same commitment to sustainability, selecting certified green materials and donating old materials to those in need.

“It was particularly gratifying to have several employees take home our old studio bamboo floors to repurpose them for a home and office renovation,” said Lori. “As they loaded up and drove off, I knew a piece of BODY’s history was going to a good place.”
